 It’s a crazy thing… that moment you meet that person you’re going to be working for, and immediately recognize that his bar is set at a level “nothing short of excellent”. Pete’s skills in strategic operational leadership & management are grasped by few in the industry but let me be clear: Pete is the guy you hire to write your operational playbook. I have witnessed him single-handedly facilitate a turnaround for a major E&P by unveiling unforeseen revenue via improving operational efficiencies, cost reduction and employing effective business strategies. Pete’s a leader and has been great to work with– one of those people you learn from just by being in their proximity. For that proximity to Pete, I count myself grateful. 

Pete is a phenomenal individual. He is professional and has an excellent work ethic.  He designed and built Exxon/XTO's Remote Operations Center for in Houston when they were running the largest drilling rig count in the world (58). Each rig operation was over $20MM worth of assets for a total >$1Billion. He also created their drilling school that every company man had to go through. Pete developed all their Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). He had tremendous responsibility and was great to work with. He is an expert at increasing efficiency and productivity. His integrity and reliability are impeccable.

Pete and I worked collaboratively... and I found him a conscientious and very hard working professional that always went above and beyond. Every project that we entrusted him with, he succeeded no matter the obstacles that were thrown at him. Pete came across challenges and met them head on. His success was in part due to his expectations from everyone on his team and how he brought out the best in all of us. During the years that I have known Pete, I have had the opportunity to observe his interpersonal style. He believes in positive motivation and his co-workers were never dissatisfied under his leadership. Pete is dedicated and an enthusiastic individual who has a great penchant for meeting deadlines.  Pete is results oriented, process driven, and uses science/data to support operations improvement. Challenging the "status quo" and making fundamental changes to improve takes courage and conviction, Pete has them both. 

Pete is amazingly organized and knows how to be highly productive not just in work, but in his personal goals and family goals as well. His servant's heart lifts all those around him.
