Clayton Carmack, Partner

Clayton Carmack is an accomplished entrepreneur and business executive with over 15 years of experience across all three phases of business: operations, business development, and finance. A graduate of Colorado Mesa University, he earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in 2006. Prior to completing his degree, Clayton was deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003 to 2004, where he developed resilience and leadership skills that have shaped his professional journey.


Clayton's passion for entrepreneurship ignited in 2010 when he launched a successful oil and gas consulting business, which he operated for five years. During this time, he focused on optimizing operations for several major companies, including ConocoPhillips, Shell, and Oxy, driving efficiency and enhancing productivity.


In 2015, Clayton founded S&B Helical, which has grown to become the largest and most successful service company in the helical pile industry. As President of S&B Helical, he led with a commitment to innovation and the cultivation of significant partnerships. Dedicated to fostering a dynamic company culture, Clayton nurtures client relationships that drive strategic growth. His unique skill set enables him to think outside the box, creating better products and services while simultaneously minimizing costs.


Clayton is also passionate about helping other business owners and entrepreneurs navigate common pitfalls by sharing the lessons learned from his own experiences. He has successfully guided several leaders in improving and building their businesses. At the core of Clayton’s values is a strong commitment to helping others, rooted in his Christian beliefs. He finds great fulfillment in empowering those around him, further solidifying his role as a mentor and leader in the business community.

Jason Tomsic, Partner

20 + Years Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Operations


Jason brings over two decades of expertise in supply chain, manufacturing, and operations, focusing on EBITDA improvement, working capital optimization, sourcing, logistics, manufacturing, ERP systems, and talent development.


He collaborates with family businesses, family offices, and select private equity firms to address challenges related to growth and cost optimization. With a deep background in manufacturing and supply chain dynamics, Jason works with clients and their teams to deliver adaptable, long-term solutions.


As Senior Vice President at IC Biomedical, LLC, he led global operations for a private equity-backed acquisition, overseeing a new factory setup, manufacturing relocation, ERP integration, and staffing. At Innovative Water Care, he led global planning, transportation, and procurement, driving SKU consolidation and working capital improvements for a $600 million business.


Jason holds a Master’s in Supply Chain Management from Penn State and a BSc in Industrial Management from Clemson University, along with a CPSM designation.

Joe Culver, Partner

30 + Years Business Development, Operations,Finance Leadership


Joe Culver is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in business development, finance, operations, and franchising. A University of Washington graduate, Joe's early career at Costco Wholesale saw him rise to Sr. Director of Financial Services, where he forged key partnerships to launch the Executive Membership program. He then moved into tech as VP of Business Development at TeamOn Systems, contributing to its acquisition by BlackBerry.


In 2001, Joe founded Pacific NW Fitness (Thrive Community Fitness), creating the Pacific Northwest’s largest privately owned fitness chain, generating over $200 million in revenue and transitioning the business into a successful franchise. He later co-founded Eat The Frog Fitness, which expanded to 35 locations and was sold to Extraordinary Brands in 2024.


Joe's community involvement includes co-founding Vertical Sports Maui, the island's largest youth sports non-profit. Currently, he is an Investor and CRO at Pound Athletics, focusing on scaling businesses and strategic partnerships. His leadership philosophy emphasizes strategic vision, operational excellence, and impactful community engagement.
